Review of The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) by Martin R — 03 Aug 2007
An extreme film about a lustful doctor and his passions, including the extremely talented actress Juliette Binoche in one of her finest roles. The story is one of passion, war, mortality and betrayal: powerful themes, but even moreso when combined to create a film that expresses just how easily our emotions can lead us astray, and the unbearable lightness of being.
I highly recommend watching this film.
