Review of The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) by Prudence L — 11 Nov 2007
The naive and innocent love Juliette Binoche has for her husband drastically contrasts with Sabina's passionate, potent sexual relationship with her lover Daniel Day-Lewis. The way this movie explores love and sex, pleasure and pain, imprisonment and freedom and its tragic ending linger and make me think.
..a very, very romantic and thought provoking movie~.
