I love this movie...Daniel Day Lewis is absolutely sizzling in this film...I saw him in the theatre in My Left Foot, then in A Room with A View where he was absolutely amazing in, then I saw Last of the Mohicans, and I saw this movie during my tumultuous marriage to a Polish man and saw myself in Tereza.
..I yearned for a bittersweet ending as theirs, but I guess divorce in my case worked out better. The movie is achingly beautiful in everyway. I loved it.
