Review of The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988) by Rosely B — 22 Aug 2008
Based on the book by Milan Kundera.
Absolutely incredible. Great performances by both Juliette Binoche and Daniel D. Lewis.
Considerably long, but totally worth paying all your attention to every single detail.
It leaves you with a bitter sweet taste at the end, a taste that makes us wonder about the meaning of our lives and how love, war, conflict, etc really mean nothing at the moment we part from this world but the way we lived our lives and if we leave happily.
