I watched this with my mom a couple months ago. This movie is from France so its original language is "Les parapluies du Cherbourg" for those who don't know.
I am not much of a musical fan, more into horror movies. The only ones I liked was Grease, and I enjoyed this.
The story is about a guy named Guy (its not a joke), working at the car job, then he meets a girl named Genevieve and they fall in love, but the love relation is shattered when Guy has to go to war for 2 yrs (1957-1959, guessing taking place in the Cold War since that war did not end till 1991).
I liked the songs and the acting's great 8).
PS: I have it on Netflix Instant Watch on the Roku 8D.
