Review of The Two Jakes (1990) by Scott M — 15 Nov 2007

While not nearly as good as Chinatown, this one is still pretty entertaining. I wish Keitel would've been in more of the movie (as it is, he's only in the beginning and end). Nicholson tries to mimic Polanski's camera work, but in the end he can't really match Polanski's genius.

I still enjoyed the story and thought the movie was surprisingly humorous, this is still an underrated movie.
