Review of The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009) by Lachlan D — 02 Dec 2012
Well, what can I say... more of the same? Actually, not exactly the same. Despite being considered worst than the first movie, I thought this one was an improvement over the last, and much less "unbearable to watch".
There's a new CG, the digital wolves, along with the old ones (blurred running and body glitter) and a little more of action. However, some of the problems are indeed the same. One in particular is the idiocy of Bella (the character) and the dullness of Kristen Stewart.
In fact, one might start thinking that Bella was a character that was actually designed to be bad, one-dimensional, stupid and with an erratic and unexplainable behavior. There are some problems that go beyond the plot and the characters, too, like the bad acting and the occasional slowing of the pace.
Wrapping it up: yeah, not exactly more of the same, but not much better than the first one either. And yeah, I'm not watching this again.
