Tree of Life is a mere excuse for Terrence Malick to produce a 15 minute long CGI outburst which has nothing to do for the film. The first half of this Terrence Malick dudd looked good with obviously was because of the CGI. The plot, like in almost all the Malick films is ignorable and this director doesn't know how to end a film. I have seen 3 of his films, all having bad climaxes. The most notable one is The Thin Red Line(1998) and also A New World(2005). This film is overlong for a fault and I was actually wishing for this to end as soon as it could in the 2nd half. This film lacks a heart, ambition and focus. This was like made for the Oscars and only dumb drama bufffs can enjoy this. The acting involved is nothing great and I hated watchng the faces of Sean Peen and Jessica Chastain onscreen.
