The very best of the disaster movies, no contest. McQueen & Newman, credit arguments aside, are fantastic. Also has one of the greatest supporting casts ever assembled. Still, post-9/11 it's a bit.
.. unnerving. "They'll kill 10,000 in one of these one of these days".
