Strong acting by elvis and the whole cast but another box office flop: everybody seemed to want the smiling GI in GI blues .
This is, to be fair, a draggy soap opera about a tormented country boy who is discovered by an older woman , Hope Lange, who believes in him (or just his butt). Watch the picture to find out! Tuesday Weld is on his "wild" side!
