Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Mark S — 02 Jul 2008
This was one of my favourite films when I was a kid. It doesn't seem quite so great now, but I still enjoy it. Rod Taylor wouldn't be the first person I'd pick to play a Victorian Englishman (he's an Australian who's spent most of his life in America!), and the Morlocks are a bit 'Star Trek' (or maybe Star Trek was a bit 'Time Machine'), but the film still holds up surprisingly well.
My favourite moments involve the time machine itself; it's awesome.
