Review of The Time Machine (1960) by Devon D — 03 Sep 2010
It has that charm and silliness that many early science-fiction films have, but it also shows strokes of brilliance at times by using the offscreen space to develop ideas and characters (such as the Morlocks), only revealing them when the film must.
It makes the reveal all the more satisfying.
