Review of The Three Lives of Thomasina (1963) by Douglas I — 25 Jun 2008
This may be the lowest rating I've given a Disney film, but sadly, it deserved it. Most of the film was worthwhile, especially the village boys - charming in every way. The screenplay was weak - adapted from a children's novel.
The music was horrid, but thankfully only consisted of the opening theme. The characters lack motive and the voice over work is lackluster. There is still a bit of that Disney magic that saves the show.
Disney himself supervised on location in Ireland - that's gotta count for something.
