Review of The Three Faces of Eve (1957) by Federico L — 11 Feb 2009
Joanne Woodward won the academy award for this movie and deservedly so. Woodward plays Eve, and not just Eve White but Eve Black and Jane too. Trouble is young housewife Eve has a multiple personality disorder.
Woodward shifts with ease through each persona and it's just a joy to watch the encounters with the mediacal personal aswel as her husband, who are all perplexed by the situation. To makes matters more enjoyable it's apparently based on a true story too, but who knows how loosely.
So treat yourself to this early cinematic piece.
