Review of The Three Faces of Eve (1957) by Don S — 24 Aug 2010
Not a big fan of classics. I try hard to put myself in the time period and consider the movie from that point of view, but I find it difficult. The story was only mildly interesting but the performance by Woodward was very good.
The other performances seemed wooden and plodding, especially the husband. The plot was simplistic to me but seemingly groundbreaking for the time. This is watchable but didn't knock my socks off.
