Review of The Three Caballeros (1944) by Michael A Elkana F — 04 Apr 2010
Sure the mix of live action and animation is dated, especially at the Bahia, Brazil, & both Veracruz and Acapulco, Mexico sequences but who the hell cares ? It was made almost 70 years ago, and almost all of the film, especially that dreamy, surreal & also Donald dancing with Mexican girl part still blew me away.
The scores are zany and enjoyable, the whole movie isn't just a jolly ride from beginning til the end, but also pretty educative and informative, especially for kids LOL.
