Review of The Three Caballeros (1944) by Suneel J — 25 Nov 2011
A dazzling display of early Disney animation and colour that takes Donald on one of his most grand adventures to date. The film is definitely one of Disney's most unique, daring, educational, and enjoyable films.
It holds a neat collection of Spanish musical numbers and interesting portrayals of real-life people and scenery. It also adds to the experience with the usage of guns, cigars, scantly-clad women, and curse words.
These aspects of the film would never be allowed in a children's cartoon in the modern day. Ultimately, the film is upbeat, funny, and quite informative in its own special way.
