Review of The Three Caballeros (1944) by Joshua H — 03 Jan 2014
A Donald Duck feature film, where for his South of the Birthday friends get him gifts that will take him through adventures and get him to know exciting new friends coming from their respective countries.
This lively animation can afford the luxury of mixing in a comedy style with an inventive visual style of animation and elements of the travelogue. Largely produced to promote Walt Disney in South America, this film is a most enjoyable experience that also shows that perhaps the character of Donald Duck was the most adjustable out of the classic ones from the shorts to feature length animation films.
This also mixes animation and real life footage in an incredibly advanced way.
