Review of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) by Anna L — 04 Mar 2012
Pure 60s style of filmmaking, with its high fashion, animated cut scenes and cheesy romance. The 1999 remake had a lot of sex appeal, but the beauty of Dunaway and the coolness of McQueen gives the original the spark in an otherwise glossy caper. Let's not forget the famous chess scene too!
Grade: B.
