Review of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) by Keith B — 24 Dec 2012
Yes this film is of its time...but what's wrong with that? The glider scene may be a tad boring as is the song that compliments it, but the two 'stars' ooze sex appeal like you have never seen before (the chess game has never been bettered) the underlying music score is beautifully crafted and adds so much to the overall atmosphere.
Faye Dunaway and Steve McQueen are the perfect split screen couple. This film is thee classicist 'heist' movie of the 60's.
