Review of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) by Grant S — 26 Dec 2010
Good, but not great. Plot has some good twists, but tries to be too clever for its own good. Direction is solid, but the multiple screen shots were quite irritating, and gimmicky.
The reason most people would have watched this movie was the presence of Mr Cool, Steve McQueen. He doesn't disappoint here. Faye Dunaway is solid as the leading lady.
