Review of The Third Man (1949) by Johnathon W — 08 May 2011
Classic film that only has gotten better with age, thanks to the superb cast (Orson Welles gives his best performance outside of "Citizen Kane"), director Carol Reed's brilliant use of the Vienna locations, and Graham Greene's excellent script (though most famous line, in which Orson Welles's character, Harry Lime, compares Florence to Switzerland, was an ad-lib by Welles himself).
One of the best thrillers ever made.
