Director Carol Reed helmed this classic, post-war, film noir tale about a writer who comes to Vienna in order to accept a job offer from long-time pal, Harry Lime. To reveal more would be unwise. Everything about this movie is just right from the acting, writing, directing, all the way down to the off-kilter cinematography and music score.
