Review of The Third Man (1949) by Josiah P — 20 Dec 2014
More than half a century has past since "The Third Man" was released and it hasn't aged one iota. "The Third Man" is almost definitely the best British film ever made and should be mentioned in the same breath as other masterpieces such as "The Godfather" and "The Grapes Of Wrath".
This is a flawless film that could be watched time and time and time again. Welles' performance is one of the best things that has happened to cinema and the soundtrack is a stand alone masterpiece too.
