Review of The Third Man (1949) by Frank R — 01 Feb 2015
Not that memorable? You have to be kidding. I first saw this when it first came out, and since then the music (I know, kiddies, it sure ain't rock and roll), and the ending have stayed with me, especially the ending.
Valle is marvelous, as is everyone else. Stunning cinematography. The scene when Harry Lime is first seen is another memorable element. This is one of the great films of all time.
