The Thing (2011) serves as a great prequel, sharing the same atmosphere, paranoia and sepia tones of the original. True fans of the original film wouldn't dare to compare the two - this is NO remake, rather a discovery into the truth behind the gruesome discoveries Kurt Russels team made in 1982.
Get the popcorn out and close the curtains! You're in for a treat!
