I wanted to really like this but in the end I only thought it was okay. The problem is that this film was just too similar to the 1982 version, it didn't have much suspense or any memorable characters. It didn't bring anything new to the table, the climax was pretty underwhelming.
The post credit scene was the best part of the movie but once the movie ended,I felt it really wasn't necessary to see this again. It was worth watching once, but it really feels pointless to watch this again.
This feels more like a prologue to an actual story, the actual story being the 1982 film.
