This one focuses more on gore instead of on the paranoia that made John Carpenter's version so great. There's also little character development here and the main character is never questioned, unlike in the original when you were far from sure if the main character was human or not.
I still enjoyed this as a homage, the first half of the movie is good but the last half hour a let down. it's rather pale compared to the original.
