Yet another proof that "professional critics" are completely clueless. The Thing is best Carpenter movie and simply absolute horror classic that every even semi-fan of genre must see without any question.
Absolute-zero surrounding of Antarctica with main protagonists running rampant in justified paranoia. Bottin special effects stand the test of time and are as unnerving and creepy as they have been decades ago.
