Review of The Thin Man (1934) by Olivia K — 11 Jun 2007
Sleuthing Nick and Nora are, well, complete alcoholics. In fact, if real people drank as much as they do in this film there'd be long waiting lists for liver transplants.
I found this film to be quirky with a touch of grandness. Lots of fur coats, martinis, parties, guns, mystery, and of course that cute little doggie.
A pleasant surprise for what had been a random purchase of a $2 bootleg at a weird Chinese video store.
