Review of The Thin Man (1934) by Riplee . — 22 Feb 2014
The first--and best--entry in the booziest film series of all time. A rye-iotously funny farce that walks a fine line between genres; it's a detective film with a screwball twist. As loaded with laughs as Nick (William Powell) and Nora (Myrna Loy) Charles are just plain loaded.
