Review of The Thin Blue Line (1988) by Kane M — 25 Feb 2008
Perhaps the finest documentary I've ever seen. As soon as the film starts you are arrested by it's hyptnotic score, enthralling murder mystery plot, cinematic and presice style, and line up of interviewees who amaze, interest, disgust and entrall more and more as the story unfolds.
To talk to much about this film would be to risk ruining it, so I'll just say this this - Errol Morris is as good as any narrative movie maker; be it Hitchcock Fincher or the Coens - THIS IS A MASTERWORK; SEE IT!!
