Review of The Thin Blue Line (1988) by Edoy G — 02 Dec 2009
A documentary of undeniable power, Errol Morris' "The Thin Blue Line" (1988) has many depths. On its surface it is the powerful documentary that freed a wrongly convicted man. But beneath the surface it is an indictment on people, and what they will do, or at least be willing to do for any kind of gain whatever it may be, be it pride, money, or entertainment.
Put together flawlessly, and without bias, "The Thin Blue Line" is the documentary that set the bar for what film could do, and what it could say. I highly recommend this film, especially if you are a fan of police procedural drama.
