Review of The Thin Blue Line (1988) by Beau D — 02 Feb 2011
Looking at this movie in a rear-view mirror, we can see it's importance with regard to the art of documentary film making. Lauded as one of the first films to use dramatic reenactment, The Thin Blue line knits several different stories together in a way that would eventually lead to the release of a Texas Death Row inmate.
Incredible editing and the music of Philip Glass make this film terribly engrossing.
