Review of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986) by Tim P — 16 Apr 2008
How could Tobe Hooper hope to follow up the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre? To his credit, he realized he couldn't crank out the same type of film. Instead he changed the tone a little and came up with a very enjoyable movie.
Granted, it's no where near the same level as the original, but really, what movie, besides John Carpenter's Halloween, could even come close?
