Review of The Tenant (1976) by Gianlorenzo L — 26 Apr 2008
Some of these "rear-window" scenes out-rear-windowed Rear Window. If that makes sense... Also, I think Polanski may have been jealous of Mia Farrow's role in Rosemary's Baby so he decided to write himself into her character for the Tenant.
And he was great for the part - his awkwardness lent the right amount of unease to character interactions from start to finish. Is he so endearing in real life?
