Review of The Ten Commandments (1956) by Brian D — 01 Aug 2010
This movie is an absolute classic. Yul Brynner is such a badass and Charlton Heston is as well. The sets are some of the most beautiful and grandiose that Hollywood ever made.
Seeing this film really makes you appreciate the art of set building compared to all the computer graphic nonsense we have today.
It also doesn't hurt to have Anne Baxter and Yvonne De Carlo (minus her horrendous Munsters makeup) in the movie.
