The dark suspense thriller The Tall Man is an interesting and atmospheric film. The story follows a rash of kidnappings in a small mining town that spurs an urban legend of "The Tall Man;" a mysterious figure who abducts children.
Jessica Biel leads the cast and gives a very strong performance. Additionally, the storytelling is well-done and is able to craft an intriguing mystery. Yet, the plot seems a little underdeveloped and the message of the film is a bit ambiguous.
While the film doesn't completely come together, The Tall Man still has enough mystery and suspense to tell a compelling tale.
