Review of The Talented Mr. Ripley (1999) by Erin R — 21 Jan 2009
Sadly this thriller lost its thrill about 15 minutes in when the "twist" became apparent to everyone not five years old. The rest of the movie plods along at a snail's pace until the inevitable happens.
The performances are good, but they can't help support the weak structure of the film. I hear the book is better.
