Review of Jane Eyre (2011) by Hayley B — 21 Dec 2011

I'll confess.... I didn't finish this movie. It was extremely painful. The inaccuracies with the book, the confusion between flashbacks, and the stiff performance given by Wasikowska all contributed to my great dislike of this adaptation.

I plan to edit this post later with the comparisons between other versions of the novel, but I can already say that this was a pitiful attempt to communicate the beauty of Charlotte Bronte's talent.
