Review of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) by George C — 27 May 2009
A remake of this 1974 thriller is just around the corner with John Travolta in the villain's role and the great Denzel Washington in the role originally played by Walter Matthau (Washington had his character's name changed to Walter in tribute to him).
The original has some suspense goods (it was the 70's after all) that's helped along nicely by Robert Shaw and Martin Balsam. Worth checking out.
