Interesting "Die Hard" prototype focuses more on the surrounding police and transit operators than the undercover cop hidden amongst the hostages. Some ethnic humor dates poorly, but good tension and compelling questions propels the story along to a weaker finish.
Strong performances across the board, heavily seasoned with cranky Noo Yawkers.
