Review of The Sword of Doom (1966) by Chase _ — 20 Nov 2008
While there are many interesting plot points made throughout the film, its strongsuit lies in production values. The camera angles, lighting and sound are all masterfully done. The failure of the piece lies in the utterly absurd death (both in how and why) of every person his sword even comes close to touching and the completely anti-climactic ending (granted there are two other films that should come after it).
Otherwise, it is a very well made movie.
