Review of The Swarm (1978) by Ben S — 27 Aug 2007
Director Irwin Allen uses the disaster movie genre to take a probing look at post-Watergate paranoia and suspicion, symbolized by a swarm of bees that can be everywhere and nowhere at once. Also a frightening vision of an all-too-possible future; I'd like to see President Bush's contingency plans in the event of a bee attack on U.
S. soil. Unmissable.
