Review of The Swarm (1978) by Bob W — 02 Mar 2015
I had nightmares after seeing this as a kid about the same age as the boy who sees the oversized bee. One of the few nightmares I still remember. This is typical Irwin Allen disaster film with an all star cast.
the shortened version is much more tolerable B movie fun. The longer version is bloated with unnecessary dialogue and attempts at emotional sub plots that are at best cheesy. And give it up for the genius of the kids hiding in upside down garbage cans.
