Review of The Strawberry Blonde (1941) by Jeffrey P — 11 Nov 2010
While Cagney may not be your first choice for a turn-of-the-century dentist, he delivers his trademark energy nonetheless. It's a slight story of two "old neighborhood" pals butting heads over lovely De Havilland, but Warners stalwarts Hale, O'Connor, Carson, Tobias and Hayworth make it a lot of fun.
Watch for George (Superman) Reeves as a uke-playing Yale man!
