Review of The Strawberry Blonde (1941) by Jose T — 09 Oct 2013
A cute little film about manners that is easy watching but ultimately a bit of fluff.
James Cagney is his usual self with charm in this story of him desiring his friends wife & life but eventually him coming to realisation that he not only had a great wife but a great life.
Although the whole film was a little fluffy it was light & easy watching & I was surprised at how bland Olivia DeHavilland role was considering the wonderful performances she has done.
