Review of The Strangers (1980) by Colby P — 31 Mar 2013
Many would call this plot dry and basic, I have to agree, but at the same time it was very obvious while watching the film that the creators were aiming to make a very basic and realistic horror film about people with no remorse or motives. Though they did almost exactly what they set out for (The makers), I cannot say that the outcome is grand, or even close.
In the end I promise that you will walk out of the theatre saying that it was scary and suspenseful but in no sense a masterpeice.
