Review of Outlander (2008) by Colby P — 16 Jul 2009
Considering how low budget this was the effects and make up was surprisingly decent but that doesn't save a medicore script and a ho-hum story that maybe sounded cool as a two sentence pitch but really this was an hour and 50 minutes of inconsitant pacing, meh action and tame violence for the most part.
Sure Hurt, Caviezal and Pearlman help the cause of the cast and acting but they mostly sleepwalk or just collect a pay check. Dont bother unless you maybe catch it for free and are open to a sub par monster/alien story.
