Itâ??s a shame this film hasnâ??t been preserved better, but itâ??s in poor condition and the music must also overly melodramatic. Otherwise, though, this is a great suspense movie with solid acting, particularly Barbara Stanwyk as Martha Ivers and Kirk Douglas in his debut role as her husband.
Wild ending, too.
